Live online coverage of event for the Special Deaf and Hard of Hearing School of Patras

DESCRIPTION
The two-day event Patras’ Special School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing was organized in collaboration with the Coordinator of Special and Integrative Education of Western Greece and had as its theme: DEAF / HARD OF HEARING STUDENTS – EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM – FAMILY – PERSPECTIVES.
The presentation and coordination of the live show was undertaken by Alexandra Kotsaki, teacher of Greek Sign Language (GSL).
EQUIPMENT
- 5 display monitors
- 2 high performance PCs
- 1 online application in order to achieve communication between show hostess, presenters and interpreters and online streaming of the show
Remote technical review of presenters and interpreters preceded to ensure reliability and fine performance of online coverage, receipt and preparation of digital material and related media for displaying them live.
